This is the day

This is MY flag, OUR flag...

I am proud to be an American today. Very, very proud. And happy.

Now if I can just stop that tear in my eye from welling up...

I, too, am proud to be an American. I am excited to see what Obama can do. I hope he can get us moving upward and not dig us into an even bigger hole.

It is great that the voice of the people can clearly change the direction that our country is heading. Most likely in 4 or 8, maybe 12 years it will swing back the other way. This is what makes America so great.

I really am excited to see what Obama can do. (even though I didn't vote for him) I hope that the change he is preaching will bring coninued and improved greatness rather than spiraling us down into the depths of socialism. (Just Joking. Obama obviously isn't a socialist. At least I hope not)

I, too, am proud to be an American. It is refreshing to see that a country as large and diverse as ares can have a change of leadership so decisively and smoothly. As McCain said the people of spoken clearly. I hope that the change Obama has preached over the last year and half will bring us continued greatness and prosperity and not despair and socialism. (Just Joking. Obama isn't a socialist, clearly. I least I hope not)

I am sorry that I have posted 3 different comments. I thought that my comment wasn't being posted everytime but really it was just waiting to be approved to be posted. I feel rather stupid. That is what I get for never actually reading the messages that I get when something doesn't go right on the computer.

I couldn't agree more. Barack Obama is the man that matches this moment in American history, the man to lead our nation into new globalized, diversified world.

Hail to the new chief!

Adam, your confusion was completely my fault. After that spam comment got posted to my blog a few months back I switched my comment setting allow me to moderate them, then forgot. It shows how inactive I’ve been – haven’t even logged in to Blogger in 2 ½ months!

It’s even dumber because I was wondering why nobody had bothered to comment on my blog in that time. I mean, election night was so profoundly moving for so many of us. I stand corrected!

I won’t let it happen again and am glad you cared enough to take the time to try posting your thoughts no less than 3 times.
